I have long had a fascination with wood – its use in architecture, interiors and decoration. It has an organic warmth and can be crafted in so many ways – carpentry and joinery; wood turning; engraving; sculpture, etc. This year I’m showing some items produced on the lathe, some of which express the characteristics of the various woods and others which are decorated using acrylic paint.
