Nancy Jones

I have a background in Illustration, having studied for a Graphic Design degree in Leeds before working in an advertising studio. I then went on to work as a book illustrator and also as a designer for a greeting card company. I have lived in Dorset for over thirty years and I have always painted. I have now discovered lino printing and I love every step of making my prints, from the initial idea and sketch, to carving the design and the excitement of seeing the finished print revealed. Every print is made entirely by hand using traditional techniques. The coastline and landscape of beautiful Dorset are my inspiration.
