Roger is a keen wood turner based in Poundbury, with a focus on creating handcrafted wood pieces that blend functionality with artistry. His appreciation of wood started in childhood visiting his grandfather’s joinery shop, and continued through his own career in construction and property.

The textures, grains and natural beauty of wood are the focus of his pieces, which range from decorative objects to functional household items. He works with a range of woods such as oak, walnut, and sycamore, allowing the natural beauty of each grain pattern to shine through with simple, clean lines.
