Colin Davis

Crd222

Colin’s folk-art style of mosaicking is centred on recycling ceramics and is predominantly designed for interior display. He also uses old toy cars as a medium and has collected both pottery and toy cars for many years.

His subject matter is diverse and often inspired by nature, featuring animals, flowers, and birds, as well as symbolic pieces responding to global events such as the pandemic, lockdown, and war.

Colin began creating mosaics in 2013 and is entirely self-taught. Since 2018, he has been exhibiting in galleries and exhibitions across the UK, as well as internationally online. His work has also been selected for the Poole Lighthouse Open Exhibition (2024) and the South West Academy of Arts Open Exhibition (2019).
