Katherine Message

I make ceramic pieces to be used and enjoyed by throwing porcelain and stoneware. I decorate them with slips and glazes to create interesting textures, subtle colours and sgraffito designs. My background as an occupational therapist informs the ergonomic design of my functional work. I love to make pieces which are a pleasure to hold, use and make part of daily life.
