Jenny Penney

Jenny Penney is an artist that is inspired by sculpture but wants to create hangable pictures. She starts her work by visiting a site where she draws and takes pictures. Back at the workshop she used the drawing as the main image and creates her picture by cutting card and layering it to develop a scene in relief. The photographs help her to pick appropriate colours. The results are unique and she specialises mainly in producing iconic views of Dorsets fabulous landscape.
