Podi Lawrence

Lawrence studied at the Harrow School of Art and The Royal College of Art -(silver smithing course) a very long time ago!. Her career in the Arts has been very varied but always about drawing and painting. She has had several residencies (recommended to all aspiring artists) starting with the English National Ballet in 1993 and others in Canada where she lived for 10 years. Her work has been exhibited London, Paris(Bronze medalist), Toronto, New York and Panama City. At other times she has been a art-teacher, curator, gallery executive and exhibition organiser. Her inspiration is dominated by portraits and figurative studies, but she is equally inspired by light and shadow. Working in oils, acrylics, watercolours and drawing media.
