I have returned to designing and making after a few years of working in different roles. Now being semi-retired I am able to create time and space to indulge my creativity. I make small ceramic ’tiles’ which have a variety of either found objects or wild things from the natural world such as a range of seed heads. These are imprinted in to the stoneware and after bisque firing glazed. The final ’tiles’ are then mounted into a hand made, rustic timber frame as their final presentation. I continue to explore and experiment with colour, subject matter and layout.
