After graduating in Bristol Olivia returned to London working in TV before moving to Weymouth in 1996 to raise a family. Having achieved her dream of living by the sea and running a self-catering business, she picked up her brushes again and now works from the studio in her gardens overlooking Portland Harbour. Here she produces still life, portraiture and landscapes and specialises in painting commissions for families reflecting their lives through nostalgic still life or landscapes. Her style encompasses high contrast, vivid colour and intriguing detail, bringing to life her portrayals of Weymouth life. More recently she has embraced en plein air painting and organises the summer schedule for Artwey’s members and enjoys getting out and about to paint Dorset’s wonderful scenery.
