Georgia Cheer

Born in Hampshire to an artist mother, raised in Los Angeles, I returned to the UK in 2000 to live permanently. I’ve been living in Poundbury since 2012. I drew from a very young age and focused all my education on art and art history. During my university years I studied art history, printmaking, ceramics and all forms of art I could manage. However most of my adult life, I spent in graphic arts as a publisher soI did not produce art work. I only recently was introduced to pastels, which has brought me back to create color onto paper. I love with using pastels! I particularly like drawing animals, but I am pushing myself into landscapes. Because of my 30 year absence of producing fine art, I am now spending time learning about pastels, mainly for my own discovery and enjoyment.
