Since retiring from primary school teaching I have been able to devote more time to creative work. Coming from an artistic family I have always enjoyed drawing and painting. I am especially drawn to life drawing and attend classes regularly which I liken to an athlete working out in a gym.

Recently I have acquired a printing press and have taken various online classes to extend my knowledge of collography and drypoint printing.

I am inspired by the Dorset countryside and coastline and being a member of Art in Poundbury and Artwey has given me the opportunity to meet up with creative colleagues and to share ideas.
