Penny Treadwell

I have painted off and on throughout my life, on art holidays and evening classes, but became more committed in recent years. I am inspired to do more since living in the Dorset countryside and find myself creating mental compositions when I am out and about in it. I work in various media but paint mainly in acrylics. I prefer to abstract landscape rather than produce very realistic pictures, aiming to express my feelings and the essentials of the subject.
