Stella Bawden Hollis

Stella has been painting and exhibiting since 2020. She works with mixed media and is attracted to the drama of the sea environment. The paintings are mostly semi abstract conveying a sense of place and the feelings she has experienced while exploring the coastal area. Her work has bold brushstrokes and strong tonal values and blue often features strongly. She has been shortlisted for three major competitions including the British Art Prize in 2022 where she exhibited in London and sold her painting.
