Welcome to Art in Poundbury

We are proud to be part of a thriving art community here in Poundbury, Dorchester.

Supporting community projects in the local area, providing opportunities for local artists to learn, showcase their work, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Our Winter Exhibition in the magnificent Jubilee Hall Poundbury this year entitled ‘A Hive of Creativity’ was a huge success. We welcomed nearly 2500 visitors, showcasing work from 140 local artists. 2D and 3D ( glass, ceramics, wood, metal, textiles and more) – as well as prints, cards and smaller unique items perfect for seasonal gifts. The community art installation, exhibited high up in the hall included work from several local schools and other community groups.

This year we also held two en plein air events – Art in the Sunflowers and Art in the Squares, and were delighted that over 90 artists joined us on each of the two days.
