A recreation of the home and studio of Dorset artist Clem has just been unveiled at Crossroads Cafe in Poundbury, Dorchester. The sale model built by master craftsman Brian Hutchings includes Clem’s early 20th century furniture, her art studio and some of her extensive collection of objects.

As well as being a work of art in itself, The Tiny Art House houses a sale of tiny pictures, painted and donated by local artists and each is for sale for £20. Proceeds from the sale of the pictures will go to Arts in Hospital, a local charity using the arts to support the wellbeing of patients and those caring for them, in Dorchester County Hospital.

The Tiny Art House is free to visit during Crossroad Cafe opening hours. Get a coffee, step into Clem’s world and discover the magic that she saw in art, craft and decoration.

Art in Poundbury would like to thank all the volunteers involved in the creation of The Tiny Art House including Brian and the team of model makers and researchers.
