Art in the Park is back… with a twist!
Our original Art in the Park may have been blown off course by the weather, but we’re delighted to be returning on the rescheduled Kite Festival day with Drop in and Draw. Come and find us in our red gazebos near the top of the swale. Bring a sketchbook, paints, pencils or whatever you love creating with, settle into our reserved spot with front-row views of the spectacular giant kites, and enjoy a few relaxing hours of creativity in great company. Meet fellow artists, chat to the Art in Poundbury team about upcoming events, admire the winning entries from the Art in the Park competition, find out about Art in the Sunflowers, and simply enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Whether you sketch for five minutes or paint all afternoon, everyone is welcome. This event is entirely free and no registration is needed.
Bring something comfortable to sit on and join us for a colourful celebration of art, community and the joy of creating outdoors- art packs available to borrow for all Under 18’s.
