A Dorset artist creating art since 2017, moving from the figurative to a more abstract style in painting in an effort to capture spirit and presence . Maintaining bold colour and a loose style in work using mainly acrylic, collage, oil stick and other mixed media, the layering of colour and texture gives a rich theme, usually inspired by natural forms and shapes in the environment. Inspiration from the wonderful countryside and seascapes of the south west coast are particularly good as painting technique continues to develop.
