David Metcalff

Having studied and worked in ceramics for many years I started making pieces in woven wire. I stitch together layers woven wire to produce pieces of different sizes from little birds to giant seed heads. My work is inspired by nature and an interest in garden design and the finished pieces are often mounted on reclaimed wood or old tools.
