Joy Trpkovic

Joy specialises in hand built sculptural forms in porcelain. Inspired by marine life, fossils, fungi and fragile ecosystems, her international prize winning work has been exhibited widely for more than 50 years. She was Elected Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen in 2012. Work is in Southampton City Museum and Art Gallery and the Museu de Ceramica de L’Alcora, Spain . (2010, 2012, 2015. Collections.)
The painterly quality in her ceramic work is an influence from her fine Art training. Self taught in ceramics, risk and experimentation drives her work.
