Leon Dore

I have exhibited for the last 50 years in many group exhibitions and have had 4 solo shows, the most recent in the Rotunda gallery in Lyme Regis Museum.
Subjects include many portraits, varied landscapes from the different countries I have visited, recently the Dorset countryside and coast, and narrative work sometimes with topical reference.
I work mainly in oils and love bright colours, influenced by British Pop Art as I developed my own work in the 1960’s at Newcastle University.
