Charlotte Abberley

Many moons ago I studied illustration at Ravensbourne and Typographic Art at Reading University and was a book designer for many years. I now love to use books in some of my projects, and rescue as many old and unloved items as I can from dusty bookshelves.
The growth of social media has introduced me to a wealth of inspirational artists, and recent retirement gives me the opportunity to experiment. I paint in acrylics and watercolour, create collages with photography and ephemera, I have taken several pottery classes, and I travelled to Greece to study classical mosaics with the fabulous Scottish artist Helen Miles.
I tend to have a few projects on the go at any one time and am working at disciplining myself to actually finish them all.
