I am a Ukrainian-born contemporary figurative artist who has called Dorset home for more than 22 years. I live and work in Dorchester, and over the years this beautiful part of the country has become deeply connected to both my life and my work.

My journey into art began with a formal education at art college in Ukraine, followed by a degree in Economics and Marketing. Although my career initially took me into the world of business and advertising, my passion for painting never left me. In 2009, I made the decision to return to art professionally and have been a full-time artist ever since.

I work primarily in oil, exploring the human figure, light, colour and emotion through expressive brushwork, texture and layers of paint. My work has since been exhibited internationally, and my paintings are held in private and museum collections around the world. I am represented by galleries in the UK and United States and have exhibited in cities including London, New York, Venice, Berlin, LA, Boston and Miami.

Despite the international journey my work has taken, Dorset remains a very special place to me. I love its landscapes, its character and, above all, the warmth of its local community. It is therefore particularly meaningful to me to exhibit my work here in Dorchester and to share it with the people who have been part of my life for so many years.
