Maree Dethick-Jones
Handcrafted fused glass from right here in Dorchester! I love using lots of different things for
inspiration in my work but, being a native of Dorset, I especially love using its natural
beauty as a starting point in many of my pieces: from the seashore with its crashing waves,
to the wonderful rolling hills and open pasture land. My work is very varied: from pendants,
‘suncatching’ decorations, panels, and vessels to beautiful sculptural garden pieces, and
larger more exhibition-type work. At Christmas time, I also enjoy creating beautiful
winter/yule/Christmas inspired pieces.
