After taking early retirement and moving back to Dorset her interest in arts and crafts, initially promoted by her Portland Junior School teacher, were rekindled after joining a local art group.
In addition to painting, her love of experimentation with different media led to an exploration of collage, printing, felting and pottery.
She is influenced by wildlife and walks with her photographer husband, often recreating subjects in different media and combining multiple disciplines to capture the different aspects of an animal or view.
Linda has recently exhibited at the Purbeck New Wave Gallery in Swanage, Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Wild Chesil Centre, the Annual Dorset Arts and Crafts Association Exhibition and Shaftesbury’s Snowdrop in Art (winner of Visitor Award 2023)
Her exhibition will include Collagraphs of Dorset views, some Mixed Media Dorset Landscapes and some Felted Animals Pictures
