Art in Poundbury is delighted that the Duchess of Cornwall Inn has ‘opened’ their wonderful walls to our group, enabling a rolling showcase of work, featuring different Dorset-based artists each month. Spread over three floors, there is plenty of space to stand back and admire our artists’ work, or ponder for longer over a drink or two.
Over the next few months, we plan to bring you a diverse, thought-provoking and colourful series of mini exhibitions across a wide genre, from printmaking to watercolour, to pastels – which we hope you’ll enjoy – and perhaps even purchase!
The second of the Monthly “Art at The Duchess” is Four Visions from Poundbury.
Casterbridge Art Society members Judy Tate, Pam Phillip, Dieuwke Philpott and Penny Treadwell are delighted to exhibit some of their recent artwork in The Duchess this October. Four very different styles, ranging from still life to landscape and soft pastels to mixed media. Please do come in and enjoy our very different takes on colour, form and style.
