Dianne Mary Alice started painting full time about 12 years ago after moving to Dorset
She worked on a woman’s journal for several years and then retrained as a garden designer in west London.
Colour texture shape and form have always been integral in her work.
She was fortunate to learn from a professional artist in a local art group and was encouraged to join various art society’s
Her styles are varied depending on what medium she chooses but loves depicting different subjects
The last few years have been dedicated to painting places and subjects that her late husband Clive loved. Walks, fields and gardens.
Scotland France as well as the Dorset countryside are the latest art works.
She is influenced by several artist including Joan Eardley,Hockney and French impressionists.
She lives by the sea where she walks everyday with Eardley a little black dog.
