Art in the Park Application Form

Art in The Park 2026
The event is open to any artist who has registered.

Contestant Categories:
Adult Experienced artist 18+
Adult Enthusiast artist 18+
Young artists: Senior – 14 up to and including 17
Intermediate – 11 up to and including 13
Junior – 5 up to and including 10
Children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times

Registration fees
Ages 18+ £10
17 and Under Free
Registration fees are non-refundable

The Day
– Your artwork must be created on the day (except in the event of cancellation – see below). There are no size restrictions
– Check-in location to be announced
– Painting takes place between 10am – 4pm, with prizes announced by Friday 12th June via email and on our Art in Poundbury website
– Entry is at artist’s own risk
– At check-in the back of each canvas/board/surface you plan to use will be stamped with our logo, as a guarantee that your work has been created on the day
– You can create as many images as you like, but only one single work can be put forward for judging
– An image of each entry must be emailed to contact@artinpoundbury.co.uk by midday on Sunday 7th June 2026 for judging. All entries, not just the winning works, will be displayed on our website.


Cancellation
– Advance notice of 48 hours will be given of any decision to postpone the event due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
– If the event is cancelled (due to bad weather or other circumstances beyond our control) the event will be run in a different format. Artists will have 7 days from the 6th June 2026 to paint on the Great Field and compete in the art competition. (In this scenario you will not need to have your painting surfaces stamped).
Revised plans for submitting artwork for judging will be announced by 6pm on Sunday 7th June
