1st Place – Mia H (12) An outstanding piece of artwork demonstrating excellent composition, distinctive style and strong technical skill. The sense of happiness and pure joy found in nature is beautifully conveyed, capturing the uplifting moment of reaching a hilltop chapel (possibly St Catherine’s?) bathed in sunlight and overlooking shimmering water. The painting is highly imaginative and deeply relevant to the theme.

2nd Place – Niya (12) A highly commended, richly detailed painting that captures the wonder and joy of life beneath the water. Beautiful blue hues and glistening light illuminate the whale, surrounded by an abundance of calm sea creatures in a truly imaginative composition.

3rd Place – Lily (11) A highly commended, carefully detailed pencil drawing that conveys a blissful sense of peace within the natural world. The contented turtle is beautifully placed in its serene aquatic environment.
