Mike Willdridge studied graphic design at Ravensbourne College of Art. He has been a graphic designer, soldier and teacher and currently a self employed artist/teacher. His work is a mixture of representational and abstract. Mike will have a selection of his sketches on display and will produce a sketch of the exhibition.

My background has included designing and making theatrical costumes, but now I am mainly a plein air artist. My main inspiration is the countryside around my home where the opportunities in landscape and seascape are endless. I paint mainly in oils and pastels and occasionally in watercolour.
