Charles is a landscape painter at heart who paints both figuratively and in abstraction
depending on what aspect of landscape he wants to depict.
He is very much influenced by the artistic visual language of landscape, ‘secret places’ and ‘sense of place’,
and finds himself drawn particularly to the magical quality of trees and woodland.
His work captures evocative images of the stunning Dorset scenery.
