Art in the Sunflowers Application Form

– Art in The Sunflowers 2025 – is open to any artist who has registered.
– There are 5 categories for judging – Experienced Artist 18 and over, Enthusiast Artist 18 and over, Senior (14 up to and including 17), Intermediate (10 up to and including 13) and Junior (5 up to and including 9).
– Your artwork must be created on the day. There are no size restrictions.
– Check-in takes place at The Sunflower Trail between 10.30am and 12.30pm and painting takes place anytime between 10:30am and 4pm.
– The back of each canvas/board/surface you plan to use will be stamped with our logo, as a guarantee that your work has been created on the day.
– You can create as many images as you like, but only one single work can be put forward for judging.
– For judging purposes an image of each entry must be uploaded (via our image upload form).
– You will receive this link via email (or it can be found on the Art in Poundbury website) by midday on Sunday 10th August for judging.
All winners will be announced by Friday 15th August latest and will be announced on social media and website.
– The judging panel will be from Arts in Hospital charity. All entries, not just the winning works, will be displayed on our website.
– Notice of 48 hours in advance will be given of any decision to postpone the event due to bad weather or other unavoidable reasons.
– In case of cancellation (due to bad weather or other unavoidable reasons) Art in Poundbury will either re-run the day on Sunday 24th August and/or artists will have 7 days after the 23th August to enter the trail and compete in the art competition. Revised plans for submitting artwork for judging will be announced.
– Registration fee is non-refundable.
