Helen Francis

Helen Francis is a textile artist using appliqué, mixed media and thread to produce semi abstact still life and floral pictures. Images are produced by ‘painting’ with layers of dyed silk to create depth and intensity of colour and ‘mark making’ with hand and machine embroidery.

Helen graduated from Loughborough College of Art in 1978 with a B.A (Hons) in Textiles and Creative Embroidery.
