James Gould

Working primarily in print, paint and mixed media, James’ work is informed by his background in geography and world travel. Themes in his work will often show a relationship between people and place reflecting his interest in outdoor activities and love of the countryside. After teaching overseas for thirty years he retired to his home in Dorchester in 2015 where he has been able to pursue his lifelong interest in art. He has recently completed a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and continues his personal and professional development through courses at West Dean College of Art and Conservation.
