Stella Bawden Hollis

I have always loved painting and on retiring as a doctor, I went to Weymouth College to complete an Art Foundation Course. Since 2020 I have been busy in my art practice including taking part in Dorset Art Weeks on three occasions, as solo exhibitions. In 2022 I was a finalist in the British Art Prize Competition, exhibiting at Gallery@oxo, London. I also was a finalist in The Viking Cruise British Art Prize in 2021 and a finalist in the New Emergence Art Prize 2022.
I mostly paint in an abstract style using mixed media and my love of the sea is often a feature of my work.
