Sara Mower

I have always loved creating art but my passion was reignited during lockdown when, with time on my hands, I could paint without constraint. After utilising a space in our garden I was lucky enough to be able to have my very own art studio. With a dedicated creative space my love for oil paint was born and I was hooked on daily drawing and painting. Working around my horticultural business and family commitments I paint what inspires me on the day still life in the studio or working in or from my sketch books. More recently I can be found out locally painting Plein air in the beautiful county of Dorset where we are lucky enough to live or further afield. I would say my style of painting is still developing as I try and push my work more towards an impressionistic approach. Ultimately I like to think of my art like a garden slowly changing and evolving.
