I do not remember a time when I did not draw or paint. I grew up by the sea and was encouraged by my father to notice changes in light and how it affected the landscape from an early age. I work mainly in water colour but recently have been developing an interest in oils and acrylics for their breadth of versatility and application. Most of my work begins ‘en plein air’ and I look for the effect of light and the myriad of changes in shape that occur as a result. I exhibit regularly and have been successful in winning several prizes and awards for my paintings which are held in private collections both at home and abroad.
