I am from Dorset and returned home after living in various cities in the UK. I enjoy creating a playful representation of the subject, whether it is landscape or still life. I have spent time exploring my local landscape focusing on the light in skies above landscapes that I know and love, familiar but ever changing. I aim for my work to invite you to step into landscapes and wonder at the beauty of the everyday. I have recently started exploring still life painting. I would like to recreate normal scenes, things that people would have in their everyday lives, in such a way that they would want to spend time looking again.
