SUMMARY:'Bright and Beautiful' Winter Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Our winter exhibition Bright and Beautiful is a celebration of 
 art and community. It will showcase 140 local artists working in paint\, p
 rint\, wood\, glass\, textiles and sculpture. Hundreds of original works\,
  prints and cards will be for sale with prices starting at £3.\n\nThere w
 ill be opportunities to Meet the Artist\, hear about their work and try ac
 tivities from oil painting to textile art to calligraphy.\n\nThe Tiny Gall
 ery will be visiting from Portland\, full of tiny works of art created by 
 local professional and amateur artists. The artists behind each work will 
 only be revealed once the work has been bought. With each priced at £25 y
 ou may just bag a painting by someone well-known or an up and coming artis
 t. All profits will go to Dorset County Hospital Charity.\n\nThe centre pi
 ece of the exhibition is a community art installation - a flock of birds\,
  handmade by groups from local schools\, youth clubs\, older living commun
 ities\, businesses and the Weldmar hospice. It will soar across the exhibi
 tion hall and each bird\, created using the outline of the maker’s hand\
 , will carry a personal message of hope.\n\nAs well as being a perfect opp
 ortunity to buy some original art\, the event is raising funds for the Dor
 set County Hospital Charity and Arts in Hospital. Everyone is welcome and
